Day 1 - Travel to Newcastle with a lunch stop at Barnard Castle or Skipton for a couple of hours.
Day 2 - Visit the historic town of Alnwick, known for its castle featured in the Harry Potter films. Enjoy an included visit to Alnwick Gardens, which boasts a rose garden, serpent garden, poison garden, and the impressive Grand Cascade.
Day 3 - A free day to explore Newcastleupon- Tyne, known for its Georgian architecture, famous bridges over the River Tyne, Quayside setting, and unique shops in Grainger Town.
Day 4 - Explore Northumbria’s stunning coastline along the North Northumberland Heritage Coast. Visit Holy Island (Lindisfarne), home to a priory and castle, accessible only at low tide. Also, stop at Bamburgh, with its picturesque village and coastal castle, and Seahouses.
Day 5 - On the way home, stop for photos at the iconic Angel of the North and continue home with a stop in Carlisle.
