Today we visit the popular seaside resort of Blackpool and all the attractions it has to offer. Visit the imposing tower, marvel at the realistic waxworks in Madame Tussauds, enjoy the thrills and spills at the Pleasure Beach or simply enjoy the beach and many other family attractions. After dark the resort is taken over by the sparkling Blackpool Illuminations. They stretch for six miles along the promenade illuminating buildings, lamp posts and the famous trams and we will enjoy a journey through them.

Hubble, bubble, toil and trouble…today we enjoy a fascinating journey into the history of Pendle Witch Country in the Lancashire countryside. Simon Entwistle of Top Hat Tours, a renowned historian and storyteller, will guide us through the area, dominated by the macabre Pendle Hill, recounting the history of local towns and countryside. Enjoy captivating stories of Pendle Witch country on the way to Barrowford Heritage Centre, home to a museum about the Pendle Witch trial in 1612. We will continue over Pendle Hill and into the Ribble Valley before visiting further areas of interest, including Lancashire’s most haunted village and Stoneyhurst College, J.R.R. Tolkien’s school.
