Simon Entwistle of Top Hat Tours is a renowned historian and storyteller and he will guide us through the area, dominated by the macabre Pendle Hill, recounting the history of the local towns and countryside. Enjoy fascinating stories of Pendle Witch country which will be told on the way to the Barrowford Heritage Centre which is home to a museum that explains the Pendle Witch stories and their famous trial in 1612. 

We will carry on over Pendle Hill and into the Ribble Valley before visiting further areas of interest including Lancashire’s most haunted village and Stoneyhurst College which was J.R.R Tolkien’s school.
