What's Included

Day 1 - 3rd Sep: Morning home pick ups complete, we head to Plymouth to Board the Brittany Ferries Cruise Ferry Service to Santander. Relax and enjoy a night on board ship.
Day 2 - 4th Sep: Arrive in Santander and make the short drive to Isla. Check in and keep the rest of the day free to relax.
Day 3 - 5th Sep: A day at leisure to relax, spend time on the beach, in the village or enjoying the hotels facilities.
Day 4 - 6th Sep: Travel to Santillana del Mar, a fascinating village on the World Heritage List, best described as a living museum. Stroll the cobbled streets and visit the many artisan shops offering local arts and crafts. In the afternoon stop in Comillas, the 'City of Archbishops' with its grand architecture and historic centre, before returning to Isla.
Day 5 - 7th Sep: Full day to the impressive Picos De Europa mountain range. Stop in San Vicente before joining the River Deva Valley, passing through a canyon, and on to Potes, a lovely market town set high in the mountains. Those who wish can continue to Fuente Dé, and enjoy a cable car trip in to the peaks for fantastic views across the mountain range (extra cost). We also have the expertise today of a local guide.
Day 6 - 8th Sep: Another day at leisure today to relax and do your own thing.
Day 7 - 9th Sep: A short excursion today to Santona Bay where we include a boat trip of the bay with beautiful views. A little free time afterwards also.
Day 8 - 10th Sep: A final excursion today, to be confirmed near the time.
Day 9 - 11th Sep: Today we check out of our main hotel and make the short journey to Santander for the return crossings, first though we allow a bit of free time to do some final exploring in Santander.
Day 10 - 12th Sep: Arrive back on the south coast and travel home arriving Early evening.
