Simon Entwistle of Top Hat Tours, a renowned historian and storyteller, will guide us through the area, dominated by the macabre Pendle Hill, recounting the history of local towns and countryside. Enjoy captivating stories of Pendle Witch country on the way to Barrowford Heritage Centre, home to a museum about the Pendle Witch trial in 1612. We will continue over Pendle Hill and into the Ribble Valley before visiting further areas of interest, including Lancashire’s most haunted village and Stoneyhurst College, J.R.R. Tolkien’s school.
